Candle Path and Snow Bar - Kerzenweg und Schneebar
Today is a special post because it is about my job at the nursery home. Besides working as a nurse, it is also my job to plan activities for the residents. This time I organized a winter day and it happened to be at the perfect time because we had over 40cm of snow! We built a bar out of snow and made a path with lots of tee lights and candles. Our chef barbecued sausages and made mulled wine for the residents. The day was a huge success and a great way to spice up everyday life at the nursery home.
Der heutige Blogpost ist speziell, da es um meinen Job im Altersheim geht. Ich arbeite nämlich nicht nur als Krankenschwester sondern plane auch Aktivitäten für die Bewohner. Dieses Mal organisierte ich einen Wintertag, der wirklich perfekt gelegen war, da wir mehr als 40cm Schnee hatten! Wir bauten eine Schneebar und bahnten einen Weg durch die Schneemassen und erleuchteten ihn mit vielen Kerzen und Teelichtern. Unser Koch grillierte Würste und verteilte Glühwein an die Bewohner. Der Tag war ein grosser Erfolg und eine originelle Möglichkeit den Alltag im Altersheim zu versüssen.
