Love and serve - Lieben und dienen

This message we heard on our last church service. I thought it was very simple but so memorable. It’s what Jesus did, love and serve.

I actually am really proud of this one. It took me quite a while and I never fully liked it. I thought the two words didn’t match because it was a different style. Then I came up with the idea to make both banners and the decoration at the top and bottom. What I like about it is that now it looks like it all belongs together as one piece. Diese Botschaft hörten wir im Gottesdienst am letzten Sonntag. Ich liebe, dass es so einfach und merkbar ist. Es ist das was Jesus getan hat, lieben und dienen.

Auf dieses Lettering bin ich ziemlich Stolz. Es dauerte eine ganze Weile das zu machen und ich mochte es nie ganz. Ich war der Meinung, dass die beiden Wörter vom Stil her nicht zusammen passten. Dann hatte ich die Idee den Banner um beide Wörter zu machen und oben und unten Schnörkel hinzuzufügen. Was ich jetzt daran mag, ist dass es als ein Ganzes erscheint.
