Street Food Festival Zürich
Last weekend we got to go to the Street food festival in Zurich. We were really excited to finally go. The festival is open for an entire month starting mid-May until mid-June. We didn’t find out about it until half way through. The weekend we wanted to go, I was sick. Then the weekend after we went but found out they had to be closed because it was a national holiday. So on our third attempt we finally made it! We were amazed by the variety of foods they offered! From Japanese, Korean, German and Indian to Nepalese, Italian, Dutch and Greek, they pretty much offered anything. But not just the food was amazing. It was the whole ambience, that made it special. There was a huge tent which was decorated, they played music and all the stands themselves were super unique. If you happen to be in Zurich around this time next year you will definitely have to visit! It’s just next to the tram stop “Hardturm”.
Letztes Wochenende durften wir zum Street Food Festival in Zürich gehen. Wir freuten uns sehr, dass wir es endlich geschafft hatten. Das Festival ist etwa einen Monat lang offen, von Mitte Mai bis Mitte Juni. Wir erfuhren davon erst, als die Hälfte der Zeit schon vorüber war. Als wir dort hin gehen wollten, war ich krank. Das Wochenende darauf, fuhren wir hin, nur um herauszufinden, dass es wegen Pfingsten geschlossen war. Bei unserem dritten Versuch klappte es dann endlich. Wir waren sehr beeindruckt von der grossen Auswahl an verschiedenem Essen uns geboten wurde. Von japanisch, koreanisch, deutsch und indisch bis zu nepalesisch, italienisch, niederländisch und griechisch, gab es alles. Aber nicht nur das Essen war erstaunlich. Das ganze Ambiente machte es einzigartig. Es gab ein grosses Zelt, welches dekoriert war, es lief Musik und alle Stände waren sorgfältig dekoriert. Wenn ihr nächstes Jahr um diese Zeit in Zürich seid, können wir euch das Street Food Festival nur empfehlen!
