A month ago Zurich was showing at it’s best, it was the traditional holiday of the city called “Sechseläuten”. I love the parade going through the city center and I try to make it to the event every year. On last years post I explain a little more about the details and the historical background.

Every year they invite a guest state to join the event and this years guest was special for me. Growing up next to Appenzell and having family there, I always enjoyed the rich culture of the state including the incredible traditional costumes! So I took a corresponding amount of photos of it all. Capturing pictures at the event really made me want to go to a traditional event in Appenzell!
