City Gardens, Zurich

Time for a relaxed trip into the city, away form all the hustle and bustle? I have the perfect location for you! Spend a few hours at the Stadtgärtnerei (city gardens) in Zurich. It’s located near the center of the city and it is free! There are several main buildings to explore: the palm house, tropical and subtropical house and the beautiful outside gardens! On my visit the tropical building surprised me with the amounts of flowers in full bloom. Tons of orchids in all shapes and colors! The palm house on the other hand had a few non-local birds which were very fun to observe! Aside from keeping beautiful plants at their location they also are in charge of 250’000 flower beds around the city. Quite impressive!

I fully recommend a trip there if you’re looking to relax and enjoy!
