Sled the Alps in Bergün
It’s been a while since I’ve posted something in the adventures part of the blog. But to be fair, the circumstances weren’t the greatest for it. Between being sick, cold foggy weather, Christmas, and the current restrictions it was hard to find a good moment for adventuring.
On my birthday we finally made it outside again! We went sledding in Bergün, a mountain village in Switzerland. It is famous for the 6km long sledding slope and the magical train ride over viaducts and through the snow. The slope is an actual street that is closed for cars throughout the winter. At the end of the slope you get to walk through the cute village and enjoy seeing the old traditional houses of Graubünden.
I definitely recommend checking this place out, especially if you love being in the snow and nature!
Travelling: From Zurich it will take you 2 hours by car or 2.5h by train to get there.
Costs per ride: 14 CHF/adult, 9.50 CHF with a half fare card, 7 CHF for children
Opening hours: Mondays: 9.30 AM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday - Sunday 9:30 AM - 11 PM (everything is well lit at night)
