Pumpkin Fall Decor with Eucalyptus
I gotta say I am never really ready for fall… I just love summer, the mild evenings outside and the ability to be out in nature when ever you want are just two things I love about it. But these days seem to be over now. From one day to another we entered fall and so I guess I got my apartment ready for it as well with some pumpkin decor. It’s super easy to make and lasts for quite a while!
Here’s what you need for the Pumpkin:
Pumpkin (size and color of choice)
A few Eucalyptus branches
A few Baby’s-breath branches
Gift hanger or paper tag
ribbons
hot glue
wire
optional:
old, rusty key
driftwood
Make a little posy with the Eucalyptus and the Baby’s-breath and fix it with wire. Use hot glue to attach the posy to the pumpkin. Decorate with the gift hanger, ribbons and maybe your optional decor pieces such as old keys or driftwood.
I also decorated my windows with the leftover flowers:
Windows:
small glasses to hang
wire
wooden pearls
sticks
wooden houses
paper tag
ribbons
Eucalyptus
Baby’s-breath
thead
curtain gliders
For the window garland you can simply cut a piece of wire, longer than your desired length. Then start to thread leaves, small posys, sticks, pearls and so on. Attach the ribbon on one end of the wire and on the other end you finish with a wooden house. Attach a string to the wire/ribbon end and connect it with a curtain glider to hang in front of your window.
For the other window decor make a posy for each glass jar. Attach the wire around the glass and fill in the posys. Tie a ribbon around the glass. Hang it with a small string and attach that to a curtain glider. Decorate with fabric hearts in between. I made them myself a while ago - here are the instructions for it!
