Spring wreath - Frühlingskranz
I am getting ready over here to decorate everything for spring. Narcissus are already available here and they can stand the cold. First I got all the material together. I got moss from the woods and bought the flowers and the straw wreath.
First I wrapped the wreath with moss. I used wire to attache it all and keep it in place. The eucalyptus leaves and the narcissus I also attached this way. I stabbed a strong wire through the little bulbs so they would stay together. In the end I added a mossy branch and a lace ribbon. And there it is - the spring wreath.
Hier drüben rüste ich mich für den Frühling. Immer mehr wird dekoriert. Nun gibt es auch schon Narzissen zu kaufen. Als erstes suchte und kaufte ich alle Materialien. Das Moos suchte ich im Wald und die Blumen und den Strohkranz kaufte ich.
Als erstes wickelte ich den Kranz mit Moos ein und brauchte Draht um alles zu fixieren. Auch die Eukalyptusblätter und die Narzissen befestigte ich auf diese Art. Mit einem dicken Draht durchstach ich die kleinen Steckzwiebeln. Am Schluss kam noch der moosige Ast und das Spitzenband hinzu. Und fertig ist er, der Frühlingskranz.
