I love you to the beach and back

“I love you to the beach and back”. I saw this quote online and simply had to letter it. If you’re living in a landlocked country, the ocean always is and feels far away from you. But then on these quarantine days the beach seems further away then ever. One could even say the beach seems further away than the moon.

So here is my love note I wrote to my husband:

“Ich liebe dich bis zum Strand und wieder zurück”. Als ich dieses Zitat online sah, wusste ich, dass ich es lettern musste. Wenn man in einem Land ohne Meeresanschluss lebt, dann ist der Stand ja meistens schon weit genug entfernt. In diesen Quarantäne-Tagen jedoch, scheint er noch weiter weg als je zuvor. Man könnte sogar sagen, der Strand sei weiter weg, als der Mond.
