Lenzerheide, Switzerland / Schweiz
This weekend we got to spend a night with friends in their vacation home in Lenzerheide. Lenzerheide is in the eastern part of Switzerland. It’s up in the mountains and so it is not surprising that it is a very popular skiing resort. We got to enjoy early spring there. There is a beautiful lake where you can go for a relaxed walk along the shore. In between the have a big playground for kids, a bbq place and a rental station for paddle boards, boats and water bikes. They have everything the heart desires. You can also go on a stroll through the forest where the squirrels will eat out of your hands. If you’re looking into doing some more intense hiking, there are numerous possibilities there.
If you are in Lenzerheide and the weather might not be as amazing, we recommend visiting the public indoor pool. It’s just 12 Franks for an adult and you can stay as long as you want. They offer an outdoor heated pool and a slide. The outdoor pool is just perfect if you want to relax! All we can say is that Lenzerheide is definitely worth a stay.
Dieses Wochenende durften wir eine Nacht bei Freunden in ihrer Ferienwohnung in der Lenzerheide verbringen. Die Skisaison ist schon vorbei, aber wir durften den frühen Frühling dort geniessen. In der Lenzerheide hat es einen schönen See, um den man gemütlich spazieren kann. Zwischendurch hat es einen grossen Spielplatz für Kinder, eine Brätelstelle und eine Ausleihstation für Paddelboards, Wasservelos, Pedalos und Boote. Kurz, es hat für jeden etwas Passendes. Wenn man gerne eine grössere Wanderung machen möchte, gibt es in der Lenzerheide zahlreiche Optionen.
Ist das Wetter mal nicht so optimal, bietet sich das Hallenbad an. Für die 12 Franken Eintritt für ein Erwachsener bietet es einiges. Eine lange Rutschbahn, Sprungbrett, Schwimmbecken und vor allem ein beheiztes Aussenbecken mit Sprudelanlage und Düsen. Perfekt zum Entspannen!
