Alpine River Hike in Switzerland
A week ago we spent some time with my family and since the weather was showing it’s best side, we decided to go for a long walk. We went to an area of eastern Switzerland called “Toggenburg”. If you google the name you’ll already get to see how beautiful it is up there! There are lots of tall mountains and houses spread across the fields. There is a creek flowing through the valley called “Thur”. We walked along it for about three hours and then took a train back to the car. Pretty much everything of the whole walk is flat. Here are some impressions of our time there and the map marked with the paths we took:
Start: Stein SG
End: Krummenau (you can take a train and then bus to get back to Stein SG)
Duration: 3 hours
Difficulty: easy
Fun fact: Josh and I got married in this beautiful garden!
