Quick and Easy Sherbet Punch for All Ages

Summer Party in Red

Do you need an idea for an easy to make drink for adults and kids?! Sherbert Punch is your answer! The other day my husband made it for my sisters birthday party and everyone loved it! Most adults even preferred it over alcohol! Can you believe this? My cousin alone drank about an entire bottle of soda. (1.5L = 50oz) He probably had enough sugar for the rest of the month after that. All that to say - this drink is a crowd pleaser and I am very excited to share it with you!

Recipe for 6 servings:

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 L soda of your choice (Ginger Ale, Sprite, Fanta…)

  • Rainbow Sherbert (If you can’t get your hand on sherbert, then fruit sorbet works just as well, Switzerland doesn’t have sherbert, so we used passionfruit/mango and raspberry sorbet)

  • Lemon, Lime and Orange wheels

  • A few mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Pour the soda into a big punch bowl.

  2. Prepare the lemon, lime and orange wheels.

  3. Add several scoops of sherbet to the punch bowl. (I usually do 2 scoops per person) It can be worth doing this step in front of your guests, since the soda foams up when adding the sherbet.

  4. Decorate the bowl with the fruit wheels and mint leaves. Use a soup ladle to scoop soda and sherbet into the cups.
