Candles in a Snow Jar - Kerzen im Schneeglas

As I am currently sitting on the couch, laptop on my legs, the snow has been falling down all day, the Christmas light on the Christmas tree are glittering and I am getting in the mood for another DIY winter decoration. This one is perfect for the entire winter season with it’s snowy look! It’s a very simple and quick craft, even possible to do with your kids!

Material:

• Big glass jar

• Big candle

• Spray glue

• Table salt (fine)

• Coarse Salt

• Baking tray

• Baking sheet

• Ribbons, pine cones and maybe ornaments for decorating

Instructions:

1. Cover the baking tray with the baking sheet. Then pour the course salt and table salt onto the sheet and mix the two.

2. Spray your jar with the spray glue and then roll it in the salt until it is nicely covered. Let it dry.

3. Decorate with the ribbons, pine cones and ornaments (if you want it for Christmas) until you like the look of it!

Ich sitze gerade auf dem Sofa, Laptop auf den Beinen, draussen schneit es schon den ganzen Tag und der Christbaum ist beleuchtet. Da kommt bei mir gleich Stimmung auf für einen neuen Winterdeko-Blogpost. Ich freue mich euch diese einfache Bastelanleitung zu zeigen und das Tolle an diesem DIY ist, dass die Gläser sogar den ganzen Winter lang aufgestellt sein können dank dem Schneelook.

Material:

• Ein grosses Glas

• Kerze

• Sprühkleber

• Feines Salz

• Grobkörniges Salz

• Backblech und Backpapier

• Bänder, Tannenzapfen und eventuell Weihnachtskugeln

Anleitung:

1. Ein Backblech mit Backpapier belegen und die beiden Salze darauf streuen und vermischen.

2. Das Glas rundherum mit Sprühkleber besprühen und dann auf dem Salz rollen, bis das Glas überall bedeckt ist. Trocknen lassen.

3. Das Glas mit Bändern, Tannenzapfen und eventuell Weihnachtskugeln dekorieren, bis es fertig ist.
