A men’s night - Ein Männerabend
My father meets with a group of men for a bike tour or a hike once a week. Whoever has time to come shows up that day and up the mountain they go. The obligatory beer at the end of the sporty activity is probably just as much of great importance as the sport itself.
This time they met not for working out but for a Christmas dinner at my parents’ house. I have to say that my mom and I are pretty proud of the influence we are having on our husbands. My husband developed a good eye for Lettering and graphic design and can give me great tips! My dad got inspired by my mom and set up the table super nicely – he even designed his own placemats and napkin rings! Obviously I don’t want to hold off the amazing pictures and I hope they inspire the male readers of this blog! (And to my female readers - don’t hesitate to share these photos with your husbands and male friends!!!)
Mein Vater trifft sich einmal in der Woche mit einer Gruppe von Männern für eine Biketour oder Wandertour im Winter. Wer auch immer Zeit hat ist dabei bei der sportlichen Aktivität. Natürlich gibt es nachher das obligatorische Bier zum Entspannen.
Dieses Mal ging es aber weniger sportlich zu und her, es gab ein Weihnachtsessen mit allen bei meinen Eltern zu Hause. Nun muss ich sagen, dass meine Mama und ich schon ein wenig Stolz sind auf unseren Einfluss auf unsere Männer. Meiner hat nun schon ziemlich ein Auge entwickelt für lettering und Designs und gibt mir sehr hilfreiche Tipps. Mein Papa hat sich von meiner Mama beeinflussen lassen und eine supercoole Tischdekoration gemacht – sogar mit selbstentworfenen Tischsets und Serviettenringen! Die Bilder davon möchte ich euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten und hoffentlich inspirieren sie die männlichen Leser dieses Blogs!
