Narcissus wreath - Narzissenkranz

I am super in love with these narcissus wreaths I made with my mom. They are very simple to make and look so amazing. I will show you how you can make the wreath and decorate it. If you don’t want to search for branches in the forest, you can also buy it at a decor store. Here is everything you need and the instructions:

Material:

• Hot glue gun

• Hot glues sticks

• Wire

• Egg shells

• Quail eggs

• Feathers

• Narcissus

• Onion sets

• Moss (from the forest)

• Hay

• Wreath (either self-made out of branches or from the store)

Instructions:

1. Find long, thin branches in the forest. Also look for moss. Ideally the moss would be dry, so there are less living creatures hidden inside… (Picture 1)

2. Take some of the branches and tie them together with the wire. If there are branches that don’t bend the way they should you can always cut off parts. (Picture 2)

3. Take the narcissus out of the pot and break them apart (if there is more than 1 bulb in the pot), shake off the dirt and wash it clean. (Picture 3 + 4)

4. Now you can start decorating. We first laid out everything how we wanted it without securing it. When everything was in place we started gluing with hot glue. (Picture 5 + 6 ) Here are some tips and tricks:

   1. You can make tiny onion wreaths with thick wire. You just string the wire through the onions. (Picture 7+ 8)

   2. If you don’t like to see the roots of the narcissus you can cover them with moss or hay.

   3. The hay can be bundled up with wire.

   4. Make sure to use enough hot glue on the moss.

   5. If you want, you can add a ribbon.

Ich liebe diese Frühlingskränze mit Narzissen, die meine Mutter und ich zusammen machten. Sie sind sehr einfach und wirken sehr frühlingshaft. Hier möchte ich euch zeigen wie ihr den Kranz machen und dekorieren könnt. Wenn ihr lieber nicht im Wald nach Ästen sucht, dann könnt ihr den Kranz auch im Bastel- oder Dekoladen kaufen. Hier das Material und die Anleitung:

Material:

• Heissleim

• Heissleimpatronen

• Draht

• Eierschalen

• Wachteleier

• Federn

• Narzissen

• Steckzwiebeln

• Moos

• Heu

• Kranz (entweder selbstgemacht oder aus dem Laden)

Anleitung:

1. Im Wald nach dünnen, langen Ästchen suchen und gleichzeitig nach Moos Ausschau halten. Idealerweise ist das Moos trocken, da sonst der eine oder andere Untermieter mitkommen wird… (Bild 1)

2. Einen Teil der Ästchen nehmen und mit Draht zusammenbinden und so nach und nach einen Kranz formen. Wollen einige der Äste nicht in die richtige Richtung wachsen, kann man sie einfach abschneiden. (Bild 2)

3. Die Narzissen aus dem Topf nehmen und auseinander brechen, sollte es mehr als eine Zwiebel im Topf haben. Die Erde abschütteln und die Wurzeln abwaschen. (Bild 3 + 4)

4. Jetzt geht es ans Dekorieren. Wir haben zuerst alles ausgelegt, und als alles am Platz war, mit Heissleim angeleimt. (Bild 5 + 6) )Hier einige Tipps:

   1. Die Zwiebeln kann man ganz einfach mit etwas dickerem Draht aufspiessen und zu einem Kränzchen formen. (Bild 7 + 8)

   2. Wenn euch die Wurzeln nicht so gefallen, könnt ihr sie mit etwas Moos oder Heu abdecken.

   3. Das Heu kann ebenfalls mit Draht zu einem Bündel geformt werden.

   4. Das Moos mit viel Heissleim anleimen.

   5. Wenn ihr möchtet, könnt ihr auch noch ein Band hinzufügen.
