Saint-Paul-de-Vence, French Riviera

I realized it has been a while since I’ve written in the “Adventures” section of my blog. I guess that is partially because in winter we don’t go on big vacation trips but also because it is just harder to go on exciting short trips in Switzerland. I don’t love winter all that much because most of the urban area in Switzerland doesn’t get much snow anymore, so then winter just becomes a grey mush…The sky is grey, the trees, the streets and houses are grey, so in other words, not great weather for exploration. I definitely do enjoy an actual winter day in the mountains though like this trip here!

Last summer Josh and I went with a friend to a beautiful romantic little town in France called Saint-Paul-de-Vence and we fell in love with it in an instance! It is an ancient town with charming old buildings, narrow alleyways, and many little art shops. On top of all that you get a great view on the rural area near the French Riviera. Saint-Paul-de-Vence is only a 50-minute-drive away from Nice and is definitely worth a visit!
