Just in time for the start of summer I also redecorated our house. Now the only thing that we need to be ready for summer is to tan our legs. Well mostly mine, since I am not blessed with an all year round tan like my husband.
Anywho, this time I thought it might be helpful for you, if I shared not only the photos as an inspiration, but also mentioned why I placed each thing where it is now. I tried to write on the photo as an explanation and I took some photos during the process to show more.
In the photo above you can see how I decided to move the center piece (watering can) off center. Then I also used 3 of the same bottles. I like to repeat things and it’s best to always use odd numbers, to make it more appealing to the eye. In the pictures down below you can see why I decided to lay one of the flower branches down instead of putting it up in the bottle. When you stick it in the bottle, you have two things of the same height. (even number = boring) So I had the option of also filling the third bottle or putting it somewhere else, which is what I ended up with.
Sideboard
Gerade rechtzeitig zum Sommeranfang habe ich bei uns umdekoriert. Das einzige was uns nun für einen guten Sommer noch fehlt, sind die braunen Beine…
Wie dem auch sei, dieses Mal habe ich mir gedacht, dass es für euch hilfreich sein könnte, wenn ich nicht nur ein Foto als Inspiration hochlade. Ich möchte euch dieses Mal auch zeigen, weshalb ich die Dinge an den spezifischen Orten hingestellt oder gelegt habe. Dafür habe ich direkt aufs Foto geschrieben und einen Teil des Prozesses dokumentiert.
Auf dem oberen Bild könnt ihr sehen, dass ich das Hauptstück aus dem Zentrum genommen habe. Dann verteilte ich drei gleiche Flaschen. Beim Dekorieren ist es besser, immer ungerade Anzahlen zu verwenden, damit es interessanter wirkt. Bei den unteren zwei Bildern seht ihr zwei Varianten, wie ich den Beerenast hätte anordnen können. Beim linken Bild sind nachher zwei gleich hohe Elemente vorhanden, was eine gerade Anzahl ist. Da hatte ich die Möglichkeit entweder noch die dritte Flasche zu füllen, oder das Ästchen hinzulegen.
